The Toledo Urban Federal Credit Union has a lot of exciting news for people of the neighborhood and Angela Cattladge and Jamizz McKinney will be present at the monthly Kwanzaa Park Neighbors’ meeting to inform the community about the new Monroe Street Branch of the TUFCU, as well as information concerning the soon to be built Resource Center.
But there is a lot more about the TUFCU to be shared at the meeting. Participants at the meeting will gain information about becoming a member of the Credit Union and how their money is working for them. Regular questions about banking will also be addressed.
Padua Center’s mission is to empower all people. If you have some interest to which Padua Center could respond, please call (419)241-6465.
Light refreshments will be served. The community is welcome to attend and enjoy conversations and help plan future activities for the neighborhood.
Regular meetings are held on the first Thursday of each month at 6:00 PM in the evening at Padua Center at 1416 Nebraska Avenue, which offers a ramp for easy access for those in need and ample parking off Junction Street. During February and March, the meetings are held at noon because of the winter darkness. The Kwanzaa Park Neighborhood borders Dorr, Hawley, Brown, and Campbell Streets, but all interested persons are welcome.
