The monthly Kwanzaa Park Neighbors’ meeting will occur at 6:00 PM on Thursday, July 7, 2022, at Padua Center. There will be two guest speakers for this informative meeting. Mr. Lonnie Ghee, Padua Center Board Member and Residential Specialist for the Youth Treatment Center of Lucas County will speak about his work with Youth. Sgt. Stachura of the Gang Task Force will also speak. Both speakers will help the audience understand what is happening in the City of Toledo with addictions and violence.

Also, at this meeting participants will help shape the fall and winter programing for Padua Center. If you have an interest in Padua Center’s programs, please call (419) 241-6465.

Padua Center will serve Light refreshments. The community is welcome to attend. Regular meetings take place on the first Thursday of each month at 6:00 PM at the Center at 1416 Nebraska Avenue, which offers a ramp for easy access for those in need and ample parking off Junction Street.

The Kwanzaa Park Neighborhood borders Dorr, Hawley, Brown, and Campbell Streets, but all interested persons are welcome.
