The monthly Kwanzaa Park Neighbors’ are hosting a Garden Party on Thursday September 3, at 6:00 PM in the Ujima Park and Garden. The event will be outside; attendees must wear masks and practice social distancing. The garden party will feature a time to share about the gardening projects and possible planning for the future.

The community is welcome to attend and enjoy conversation, as well as tour the Ujima Park and Garden. Regular Kwanzaa Park Neighbors meetings are at Padua Center on Nebraska Avenue. The center offers a ramp for easy access for those in need and ample parking off Junction Street.

The Kwanzaa Park Neighborhood encompasses Dorr, Hawley, Brown, and Campbell Streets, but all interested persons are welcome.
