The next Kwanzaa Park Neighbors’ and Blockwatch meeting is on Thursday April 5 at 6:00 PM at Padua Center. The featured speaker is Gary Arbuckle from the Board of Developmental Disabilities. In addition to the guest speaker and regular raffle, the participants will learn about the upcoming razing of St. Anthony Church and its ramifications for the Kwanzaa Park Neighbors’ meetings during the next couple of months. The meeting will collect input regarding possible uses for the space left by the demolition of the Church building. The neighbors are also planning on a Bingo Fest at the May meeting. The community is welcome to attend and enjoy conversation and complimentary refreshments.

Monthly meetings are held at Padua Center at 1416 Nebraska Avenue, which offers a ramp for easy access for those in need and ample parking off Junction Street.
